Visit Robi’s New School With Us!
Our homeschool journey began in 2019 when Andrej began first grade.
By December of 2019, we had decided to begin homeschooling Robi as well. He had just completed the first semester of third grade, and before the second semester began, we had met with the principal of his school and signed the paperwork for un-enrollment.
Nearly five years have passed since that day…and the time has come for him to begin a whole new chapter in his life.
High school.
It’s hard for us to believe that our son is starting high school!!
In Croatia, you can either attend a general high school – Gimnazija, where you’ll learn all of the subjects which will prepare you for university, or you can attend vocational/trade schools, music school, or a technical school, after which you can either go on to university, or seek immediate employment.
Robi chose a vocational school, “School for Graphics, Design, and Media Production,” with a focus on Media/Audio Production.
We took a Saturday morning to visit the school and show him his route from the train stop to his school…
and we thought we’d take you along!
