Operation Christmas Child & Other Christmas Happenings!
I can’t believe it is the Christmas season already!
I know, I know – we haven’t celebrated Thanksgiving yet. It’s kind of coming late this year.
Nevertheless, the season is upon us. I always like to take the end of November/beginning of December to reflect on last year.
Last Christmas we were in America!
2024 Operation Christmas Child Outreach
Each year our church hosts an Operation Christmas Child outreach, where we invite all parents of children to come and hear the gospel presented and receive a shoebox gift – gifts that generous and kind believers have packed for children.
We usually invite Superbook to come out and partner with us in our outreach.

This year we’re partnering with Superbook to host the 2024 Christmas program outreach for Operation Christmas Child – Zagreb on December 14, 2024.
Following that, we will be hosting their post-Christmas children’s discipleship program “The Greatest Journey“, which I will be leading for our school-aged class.
Each year I lead a special Christmas study for Good Morning Girls.
This year, we’re going to read through the book of Luke one chapter a day from December 1-24. I’m calling it “Countdown to Christmas”.
We’ve also decided to do this as a family. Lately we’ve been reading through the book of Exodus, but we’re going to pause and read through the book of Luke – 24 chapters from December 1-24.

Other Christmas Events
My boys have both recently joined our drama team – and they are putting on a special drama for our Christmas Eve candlelight service.
I can’t wait to see it!
My kids have told me nothing – it’s supposed to be a surprise!
