3rd Annual Youth Conference + Other News
This past weekend (November 15-17) our church held it’s 3rd annual Youth Conference “Foniraj me” (Phone Me).
We had the largest attendance to date – 40 kids came from several parts of Croatia as well as from other European countries.
Rafael Batista, a missionary to Portugal, was our keynote speaker and God moved in amazing ways.
The altar was filled both Friday and Saturday with kids seeking the Lord and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
You can take a quick look at this video compilation I made Friday evening.
Skit
Robi and Andrej have joined the drama team at church. This was the first skit they put on – only Robi was in this one. Andrej was in a skit on Saturday (sadly I don’t have a video one that one!)
Sold Out
A couple of years ago, our church’s youth summer camp translated the song “Sold Out” by Hawk Nelson and it became the theme song for the camp that year.
Ever since, the youth have been crazy about that song. It is still their #1 favorite song.
In fact, the young men in our youth group got together and recorded a video for the leaders of the youth conference letting them know if they didn’t sing Sold Out at the youth conference, they wouldn’t attend.
Of course, the leaders agreed….and this is what that looked like:

This weekend (November 23) we will be hosting our home group.
I am excited, as I get to introduce those who come to authentic apple and pumpkin pie – since it will be the day after Thanksgiving.
Please keep our young people and home group in your prayers.
God is doing an incredible work overall in Zagreb.
On Sunday our coffee-bar area – which also serves as an overflow area – was full as we had run out of space in our auditorium.
