I Feel You Need to Know This
Perhaps you have been wondering why it takes me so long to send updates.
I feel I need to be honest and transparent with you all – because it is indeed a struggle at times to balance all of the things I do.
A large part of why it has been so hard for me to regularly send mission updates is because I have had to take on extra work for clients.
You see, in addition to the many responsibilities I have at the church, leading my Good Morning Girls Bible study in both English and Croatian, homeschooling, and blogging, I also have 3 clients I work for.
I do book editing and prep, ghost writing, website maintenance, social media maintenance, and email maintenance – as well as temporary jobs for a few clients that keep me on hand in case they have small jobs.

I am blessed to work for some high-profile bloggers in the Christian blogger niche.
Because of the sharp rise of inflation here, our income doesn’t stretch as far as it used to, and with two teenagers our food bill just goes up, up, and up!
Coupled with that was a recent Google Search Engine algorithm change that took nearly all of my website traffic overnight.
And by overnight, I mean from one day to the next, there was a nearly 75% drop in website traffic on my regular blog: A Little R & R.
This is significant because of the ad income I receive from that site – which went down 75%.
In order to make our budgets work, I have taken on extra client work to help with those expenses.
I am so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to work with the best of the best in my field. My clients are amazing and I have such a wonderful relationship with each of them.
However, it does leave very little margin in my life at this time.
I don’t say this to garner sympathy – but simply so that you know that it isn’t neglect on my part….just a time constraint.
However, I will be spending extra time in prayer this week for the Lord to give me wisdom to place mission updates on my calendar as a priority, because it is important that you know what is happening here in our region of Croatia.
Thank you so much for your graciousness and generosity to us.
We are so very grateful for you! Without your prayers and financial support, we would not be able to do what we do!
Many blessings!
Rosilind
