Jukic Family Mission Update – October 2025
I always struggle with how to start off these updates.
I tend to want to say something witty like, “Gosh! Time is going by so fast,” or “Fall is here and the leaves are falling”…
But then I think to myself that you probably have functioning eyesight and can see for yourself that it is fall and the leaves are falling…
And there is nothing more boring in all of the world than sitting and talking about “the significance of the passage of time”. A certain Ms. Harris can definitely attest to how dull that conversation can be!
So, I promise not to bore you or insult your intelligence today with either of those facts, and I’ll just launch right on in!
This boy just had a birthday last weekend, which means I had a house full of teenagers. It was so fun for him, and he is over the moon about getting a guitar.
What is truly amazing is that by the end of the day, he was already playing songs on it.
I am truly amazed at the depth of his musical talent and ear for music. I look forward to seeing how God will use him as he grows older.

Srcokret
You all may recall that in July Robi played for a large concert on the Sea called Srcokret. Well, they are having an afterparty this weekend and Robi’s band was asked to play for the after party – so he’s back in rehearsals, preparing for another concert!

Foniraj Me
The youth are preparing for the 4th annual Foniraj Me (Phone Me) youth conference we hold each fall.
Each year the conference not only grows in size, but in intensity. God is doing something amazing among the young people in Croatia.
Our youth groups (both jr. and sr. groups) continue to grow and they are really seeking God with their whole hearts. It is so marvelous to watch what is happening right now.
Children’s Ministry
We are about to wrap up our first character study in our 4-year Bible program with our children’s ministries.
Our four-year program includes: Character studies, an Old and New Testament overview, and basic Christian doctrines.
Our first study was on Responsibility. You can get this study in a format that is meant for families right here.
In November, we will begin our next character study: Generosity.

Bible Teaching

We are about halfway through our teaching “The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit” and the class just continues to grow.
This past Sunday we outgrew the room we’re meeting in.
That is exactly the problem you want to have as a church.
Return to Double Servies
In fact, our church continues to grow each week. There is rarely a week that goes by that we don’t have new people attending.
The fact is that we have completely outgrown our sanctuary, and each week we have people sitting in the overflow areas.
So, we are going back to double services in December, but this week we’ve been gathering a team of people who are dedicated to only serving in the second service – and this service will be held on Sunday evenings.
The Youth Took Over!
At the end of each series for our Wednesday evening services, the youth are taking over! And we had the first Youth Take Over last week.
They come and run the entire service from greeting to the coffee shop, from worship to the message and prayer.
This is what it looked like (and boy – I don’t think I stopped crying the entire service – it was powerful!)

Home Groups
For almost a year, our home group has been on hold as the young man who was attending our home group has relocated.
There aren’t many people in our church who live in our area. It’s an hour’s drive away. However, we have a new family attending who aren’t too far from us – and last month we were supposed to have relaunched our home group….
but they sadly came down with a virus and we have had to put it off. But…..it will happen!
Good Morning Girls
We are gearing up to join Courtney for her 16th annual Making Your Home a Haven Challenge called Strengthened in the Secret Place.
This is a 4-week study where we go deep in making our hearts and home a haven for God’s presence and a place of peace and rest for our families.
You can find out more about this study here:
In Closing…
Please keep our church and our work here in your earnest prayers.
God is clearly doing something incredible in Croatia right now – so many people are hungry for God and many young people are being saved and dedicating their hearts to the Lord.
We want to be right in the center of that work – we don’t want to miss a moment of it.
But we need God’s wisdom and a sensitive ear and heart to hear His voice and follow His path.
Until next time….
Zlatko, Rosilind, Robert, and Andrej
